Built in 2007 Red Bull Music Studios LA was created with every detail arranged to handle the most in-depth recording processes, and provide maximum flexibility. The room has a well appointed outboard gear selection, as well as a myriad of microphones, amps, and other recording equipment. We have one large live room, three isolation booths of varying sizes, and a spacious and accommodating control room.
Large 20ftx40ft live room with 20ft ceilings can easily accommodate any band. 3 Iso booths provide plenty of isolation during live recordings. A 7ft Yamaha C7 grand piano, SJC drum kit, and a collection of instruments and amps are all available for use.
Our spacious TEC Award winning control room houses a custom SSL 9048K series console, Exigy S412 wall mounted Monitors, and a great selection of outboard gear.
A comfortable and spacious vocal booth has direct line of sight to the control and live room and is also large enough to be used as a drum room.

With 20 years of experience working with many different artists in every genre, Chief Engineer James Musshorn can handle any situation thrown at him. After working in several studios in LA and learning from countless engineers and producers, James made Red Bull his home in 2008. His goal in every session is to make the artist feel relaxed and comfortable, so he can capture their best performance.
